We developed Onurth specifically for those of you who easily react to even the slightest trace of chemicals. We understand the frustrations that many of you face and strive to create more products that are not only safe to use, but help to treat and strengthen delicate skin.
Using organic ingredients on your skin is essential - but making the leap to using truly chemical-free products can make a huge impact on your health. If you eat organically, then you know that conventionally grown fruits and vegetables contain pesticides and chemicals that are not only harmful to your health, but diminish the nutritional benefits of the plants themselves. The only way to get the most out of the food you eat is to do so organically. And on that note, why would you ever want to put something on your skin which gets absorbed into your body that you wouldn't put in your mouth?
If you've ever looked at the ingredients on most skin care bottles you'll find a long list of unpronounceable words that in most cases are harmful to your body. The majority of beauty products today include harsh preservatives including parabens which are known to mimic estrogen and have been linked to breast cancer. Another common and unhealthy ingredient is Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, a foaming agent often added to skin care products that tends to strip the skin of its natural lipids, drying it out and leaving it open to allergens and pollutants. Other synthetic chemicals have a variety of unpleasant side effects, especially for those suffering with sensitive skin types.
At Onurth the decision to create a natural, synthetic-free line of products was easy - but we aren't just selling fruits and vegetables. We have formulated products that are made up of extracts from organically grown plants, herbs, nuts and trees. The method of extracting these components is just as important as how they are grown! All of our nut oils are cold-expeller pressed, which means no heat is used to extract the oil, allowing the final outcome to be as rich in natural benefits as possible. Even our hydrolats are different from other companies - true flower water is a co-product of the distillation process of essential oils, however Onurth's hydrolats are not simply the water which is left over - our sources specifically distill the plant matter to create our flower waters, which means the attention is paid to ensuring the quality and care of what is produced. We are dedicated to giving you the purest and freshest products possible - In fact, our lip treatments are made in batches of six or less so that the ingredients will not overheat and lose their valuable nutrients!
